IMPROVING COMMUNITY HEALTH AND AGING OUTCOMES THROUGH INTERDISCIPLINARY DATA SCIENCE
The Community Health and Aging Outcomes (CHAO) Lab is an interdisciplinary research group based at Rutgers Institute for Health, Health Care Policy, and Aging Research. We are committed to working with health care industry leaders, policymakers, and other researchers to ask important, creative, and timely research questions that can provide decision-makers with evidence-based guidance.
Lab research is intended to support evidence-based legislation and regulation, and to encourage the spread of evidence-based practices in the public and private sector. The lab’s Director is Olga F. Jarrín Montaner, PhD, RN, an Assistant Professor in the Division of Nursing Science at Rutgers School of Nursing.
