Mariah Scott, MS
Graduate Research Assistant
Mariah J. Scott, MS is a graduate research assistant working with Dr. Olga Jarrín on various research projects at the Institute for Health, Health Care policy, and Aging Research. Previously, Mariah held the position of Research Assistant with the Sickle Cell Association of New Jersey on a PCORI grant for sickle cell pain interventions. In addition, Mariah has been in the position as an adjunct professor instructing undergraduate microbiology at Essex County College and Kean University. Mariah has a bachelors in Molecular Biology from Montclair State University and a Masters of Science degree in Microbiology from Seton Hall University. Mariah’s research field expanded to Yale University School of Medicine researching sickle cell-related complications seen in sickle cell patients.
